Description
Pamphlet issued by the Republican State Committee leading up to the statewide election of November 7, 1922. The cover of the tri-fold pamphlet includes halftone portraits, surrounded by flags and an eagle, of the party's candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Redfield Proctor and Franklin S. Billings. Inside is the nine point Platform of the Republican Party of the State of Vermont, as well as the text of an address given by Proctor at the Republican State Convention held in Burlington on October 3, 1922. The remaining sections of the pamphlet list the Republican candidates for national and state offices, as well as the members of the Republican State Committee, which include one man and one woman from each Vermont county.
