Description
View of a motel swimming pool at 573 North Main Street, in Barre, Vermont, presumably at the Heiress Motel. A child sits on the edge of the pool with an inner tube in the water someone doing a handstand in the water with only their legs visible. The pool is located across the street from some industrial fuel tanks labeled "Gulf." A porch is visible in the right side of the frame and electrical lines pass through upper half of the frame. Although the pool was filled in a long time ago and the gas tanks have been removed, the motel still stands in this location.
