Description

Photograph depicting a busy urban thoroughfare featuring signage, traffic, and power lines. The large sign in the foreground reads "Char-Broil 1/4 lb. Burgers" on a left-facing arrow and below "COME IN AND EAT OR WE'LL BOTH STARVE." Directly behind is a sign for the Vermont Transit Lines Bus Depot. A One-Stop Mart is visible across the street, and a box truck labeled North American Van Lines can be seen driving in the direction of the photographer.

This sign was located in front of Mr. C's Dairy Bar at 545 North Main Street, Barre, Vermont. The sign, with different messaging, is still being used by the Salvation Army.
