Pamphlet advertising Winooski lawyer H.A. Bailey's campaign for the Republican nomination for Attorney General of Vermont. On the front is a halftone portrait of the candidate. The pamphlet outlines Bailey's biography and qualifications for the position, which included an active law practice, time spent in General Assembly and State Senate, as well as service as the first mayor of Winooski. The pamphlet is inscribed with the name A.F. Stone. Bailey lost the Republican primary, held on September 9, 1930, to Lawrence C. Jones. Jones won the General Election and served as Attorney General until 1941. Bailey challenged him in Republican primary once more in 1938.
