Tack This on Your Telephone, 1916

The Allen M. Fletcher Senatorial Club

Card issued by the Allen M. Fletcher Senatorial Club of Northfield, Vermont in support of Fletcher's 1916 campaign for the United States Senate. Addressed to "Mr. Telephone User," the card points to money saved by the user as a direct result of policies implemented by Fletcher during his term as Governor of Vermont (1912-1915). "Strict regulation, more power for the public service commission, fearless investigation and wise legislation have made these improved conditions possible." Fletcher lost his Republican senatorial primary to the incumbent, Carroll S. Page.
