Title
Oral history interview with Amy Mason
Description
Amy Mason discusses her experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially her own long COVID symptoms and treatments. She speaks about how she first contracted COVID on a family trip to Europe in August 2022, which was followed quickly by her aunt's passing in Texas. She also touches on other ways the pandemic impacted her family, including her children's remote learning and an international student from Middlebury College who ended up staying with them during lockdown in 2020. Specifically, she talks about making arrangements for this international student to quickly travel back to the United States from their semester abroad in Madrid before travel bans were enacted in 2020.
