Bird's-Eye-View of Northfield's Depot Square and Surroundings
Title
Bird's-Eye-View of Northfield's Depot Square and Surroundings
Description
This bird's-eye-view of Northfield's Depot Square is looking to the east. Granite sheds are in the middle of the photograph, and the Universalist Church cupola is still standing, which indicates the picture was taken before 1928, when the church burned and the cupola came crashing down. There are some trees on the far hills, but farms and dirt roads are still readily visible. Today the eastern slopes are covered in trees, more houses dot the hillsides, and the granite sheds are gone.
