7th (or 17th) Vermont infantry regiment national flag. Silk with red and white stripes, with blue canton and white stars. While this flag has previously been identified as belonging to the 7th Regiment, there exist no written records of that regiment having received a second national flag. It is possible that this flag could be the missing national belonging to the 17th Regiment.
