Advertising postcard for the Carriage House Studio. The Carriage House Studio was opened in 1934 by Sarah Pomeroy and Francis Augustus Rugg in Arlington, Vermont. By the time they closed their operations in the "old carriage house" in 1949, the studio had received visitors from 39 U.S. states, Canada, and Europe.
