10th Vermont Infantry Regiment National Flag
Title
10th Vermont Infantry Regiment National Flag
Creator
Manufactured by Horstmann Brothers
Description
10th Vermont Infantry Regiment national flag, made of silk with gold painted stars. The association of this flag with the 10th Regiment is uncertain. It is either a temporary flag produced after the regiment's first national flag was reduced to tatters from their many engagements (nineteen color guards were shot carrying that first flag), or it may actually be a flag belonging to the 17th Regiment.
