Description
Regimental flag of the 1st Vermont Light Artillery Battery. Silk flag, swallowtail form, with red upper half and and white lower half, crossed cannons behind Vermont state coat of arms painted at center. Inscription: VERMONT. 1st Vermont Battery returned to Brattleboro, Vermont in August of 1864 and mustered out on August 10. Their colors were then sent on to Montpelier.
