Nine people standing on the porch of a house that today has the address of 77 Berlin Street, Montpelier, Vermont. This area was part of Berlin, Vermont, when this photo was taken, probably in the summer of 1898.

Craig Durham, on 12/19/2020, wrote: "I'm fairly confident that of the 8 people in that photo two are George and Sarah Curtis, two are Annie and Nancy Stewart (all four listed as living at 77 Berlin in 1899) and two are John and Earl Lawrence (listed as living at 65 Berlin in 1899). The two women on the far right are a bit harder to identify."
