Description

On June 30, after heavy rains, there as statewide flooding. The driveway at Frog Run Farm washed out and the field across the road flooded. The truck in the photo had been borrowed from Anatole Trudeau in order to transport manure received from a chicken farm for use in the garden. The manure was free with the caveat that they truck it away themselves
it ended up costing far more because the truck was mired in the mud. Mary was attempting to dig out the truck on July 3 when she realized she had to leave the farm. She departed soon afterward with her son David on a 10 week trip around the country.
