Photograph of the historic tavern at Chimney Point in Addison, Vermont. The tavern is located at the Vermont side of the ferry across Lake Champlain, which served travelers as well as the local community. Fort Frederick, a blockhouse built by Ira Allen at the Winooski River in 1773, is near the location where this photo was taken.
