Winter Scene of North Main Street

The postcard shows a view of city hall in winter on North Main Street, Barre, Vermont. Two horse-drawn sleighs are pulled up next to one another, with several other sleighs pictured in the background. The horses in the foreground are stopped at a water trough. The signage in the buildings to the left of city hall read, "Hooker & Co," "Frank McWhorter," and "Averill" groceries. Three children also stand in the background, facing one of the sleighs.
