Aerial photo of the Barre-Montpelier Road showing the old Twin City Drive-in Theater, ca 1948. A shopping center opened at the site of the drive-in in May of 1949. Across from the drive-in is Traveler's Rest Cabins with a big cement building in the front. Further up the photograph is Twin City Cabins in the shape of a "V". Toward the top of the photograph is Howard Johnson's and above that the state highway garage.
