Poster for the Paradise Skating Rink located at 375 River Street, Montpelier. Poster shows a Caucasian family of three holding hands and smiling while roller skating. The mother and daughter match with blonde bobs, white sweaters and roller skates, and blue skirts and scarves. The father is wearing a black sportscoat, brown trousers, white shirt and red tie. The text reads: "A Family Recreation, Paradise Skating Rink, Barre-Montpelier Road, Montpelier, VT." The skating rink was started by Alex and Angus Mackenzie of Barre before World War II. It was later owned by Hugh Marvin whose family owned the farm across the street.
