Color postcard of the Vermonter Motel, which was located adjacent to the Howard Johnson's at 1634 US Route 302 on the Barre Montpelier Road in Berlin, Vermont. The image shows a long motel building with a parking lot spanning the length of the motel. There is a large lawn in front and a forest or line of trees behind the motel. Some minor renovations and landscaping were done in between this image and the older postcard of the same motel. The text on the back reads: "The Vermonter Motel Located on U.S. 302 between Barre and Montpelier, adjacent to 'Howards Johnson's Restaurant'. 27 units, each with tile baths, tub, and shower. T.T., central heating, wall to wall carpeting. Air Cond. Open year around. Tel: 902-476-8541 Nights 802-479-9014 Reasonable rates. The Saldi Family." Someone dated this postcard 1991.
