Description
Black and white image of the Twin City Motor Court on US Route 302/Barre-Montpelier Road in Berlin, Vermont. This photograph was taken from across the road but closer in comparison to the postcard image from 1952. A free-standing sign advertises the Twin City Cabins Motel Court with a Coca-Cola advertisement, a new addition since the earlier image. A store with Coca-Cola signs and a Texaco gas pump out front faces the roadway. Directly behind the store is a semi-circular row of ten visible individual cabins, however one more may be obscured by the store. Behind the cabin is one long motel building with ten separate room entrances, set up on the hillside.
The cabins were demolish in September 2021, soon after the modern photograph was taken.
