Description
Postcard with color photograph of the Alpine Motel at the junction of US Routes 302 and 2 in Montpelier, Vermont. There are eight doors visible down the length of the rectangular motel, with one window per room. The motel appears to be white with a green roof, wooden/brown doors, and yellow shutters. There is a yellow fence around the perimeter of the motel, leading to a trellis in right side of the frame. Brightly colored foliage surrounds the motel. The back of the postcard includes an advertisement: "Your BankAmericard Welcome Here." The text reads, "Alpine Motel Jcts Rt. 2 & 302 Montpelier. Vermont 05602 Located in the Capitol District of Vermont. Golf- Fishing & Scenic Tours of the Granite Center of the World. Clean Comfortable Rooms- Ind. Control Electric Heat- Double & Single Units- TV. Rudy & Leona Garback Tel 802-223-3030.".
