Description
Minstrel shows in which white men appeared in blackface were popular in Vermont as well as other areas of the country. This is a four-page program for the Hometown Minstrels Show put on by the citizens of East Montpelier, Vermont, in 1957. The performance was held to benefit the Old Brick Church in that town and even included the church's choir. The program includes advertisements from 32 businesses in East Montpelier, Montpelier, Plainfield, and Barre.
