Barre granite workers 50 years old and older

The man wearing a light-colored hat, dark suit, and holding a cane in the front row is Severino Rossi (1848-1902), who was born in Bisuschio, Italy, and who came to Barre in 1896. Several of the men are holding bottles containing a beverage while two hold canes and one holds an earthenware jug.
