Description
9th Vermont Infantry regimental flag. Fragment, most of flag is gone. Attached to staff by ties, which attached by grommets. 11 gold painted stars remain, which were once arranged in a large circle, 4.5 inches on center. Flag is a rich blue color. Place of issue: Brattleboro, Vt. Date of issue: 07/09/1862. May be misidentified (15th regiment?)
