Description

11th Vermont Infantry Regiment national flag. Attached to staff by sleeve. Canton style is rectangular, and is 24.5 in by 38 in. There are 34 gold painted stairs arranged in a double ellipse. The stripes are extremely faded, and measure 5.5 in width. Fringe is present. Some lettering in field. Place of issue: Brattleboro, Vt. Date of issue: 09/01/1862.
