Description
The broad view of the Norwich University Cavalry Drill, for its Centennial celebration, shows the formation of cadets and horses on the Upper Parade Grounds of the campus. Horses were an active part of the university in the first part of the 20th century. Today the Upper Parade is lined with large maples and many cadet dormitories.
