This house and farm were previously owned by Nathan Adams and was passed to Edward J. Parker upon his marriage to Adams' daughter, Julia. It is located some distance to the north of the present Faywood Road, on the east shore.

The home of the Honorable Samuel Adams, an assistant judge in Grand Isle, Vt.

"The Belmont Hotel" built by Fred Martell in 1901 at Grand Isle Railroad Station, then enlarged to the state seen in the photo in 1905. He also conducted a livery stable and sold coal from here. As of 1981, the building has been torn down.

Built by Milton B. Hoag at Grand Isle Railroad Station in 1914. Hoag's house stands across the road. The Grand Isle Post Office was also located here for some time. As of 1981, the building is used by the Grand Isle School as auxiliary classrooms.…

Cast sign that was mounted on the first bridge between Grand Isle and North Hero. The sign was due to be sent to the Grand Isle dump if not for its recovery by Buster Chamberlin. He gave it to Harry Phelps, who preserved it in his home in Grand Isle.

Built in 1894 by Victor L. Hurlburt and operated by him and his wife as a summer boarding house. It has since changed hands and names in recent years with dubious success.
