Portrait of Madeleine Kunin Sixty-four years after women in Vermont received the vote, Madeleine Kunin was elected the first female governor in the state’s history. This collection includes photographs and political ephemera from her years in the public eye, 1979-1999. It also includes her three inaugural gowns.
