Consists of a letters written from Montpelier, Vermont, by Lawrence Ladd to his parents on November 16 and November 17, 1927, describing his experiences during the 1927 flood. Mr. Ladd was part of a crew opening the new McLellan five and dime store in Montpelier and his parents were living in North Adams, Massachusetts.
