Description

Joe Norton's home and mill near the frozen Berlin Pond in winter. This mill was located on the Berlin Pond outlet dam. The original mill which burned in May 1862 was both a saw and grist mill. It was replaced with this mill building which housed a sawmill and maybe also a grist mill.
